Street children are some of the most vulnerable members of any society, and this group wants to give the children "hope, knowledge, skills, opportunities, and resources necessary for them to find a healthy alternative to street life." U.S. Friends Of The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust

Valparaiso University- Engineers Without Borders

Working closely with local Kenyan leadership, Valparaiso's chapter of Engineers Without Borders recently completed a well in northern Kenya that will allow the surrounding area to pump water for drinking and for irrigation. They will return to East Africa in May 2009 to initiate another clean-water project. Read more
